People are always looking at easy ways to create great topline in their horse.
We know that there is no easy fix, nor can you simply add a magical supplement that will solve this. Following some specific steps, however, will always see great improvement.
Topline consists of both muscle and fat, but the best way to build it up is to create and condition the muscle supporting the neck, back, loin and croup.
Step One: Ensure the diet is providing enough digestible energy.
Step Two: Ensure diet contains enough quantity and quality protein
Step Three: Balance the rest of the horses’ diet, to ensure correct nutrients.
Step Four: Check saddle fit and/or saddle pain.
Step Five: Correct exercise
